Speaking & Schools
I am currently booking in-person and virtual visits between September 2023 and November 2023.
I love visiting schools, bookstores, and libraries and I’m happy to tailor presentations to the needs of the host. Workshops and assemblies cover the range of my books across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. I can can vary the content and length to fit the ages of the students.
For festivals and Afro hair specific events, I am able to speak about my writing journey or more generally on Afro haircare and its maintenance. I am experienced in hosting workshops as well as giving keynote speeches.
I am pleased to be able to to offer in person and virtual visits, with particular focus on Black History Month. Please note that all events and visits are charged as within the guidelines of The Society of Authors. I am also happy to travel as long as expenses are covered.
